Privacy notice

Last updated: September 14, 2026

Evolve MindMapper at evolvemindmapper.com is operated by Heymann Institute, based in the United States. This notice covers the mind mapping website and its account service. For questions or privacy requests, email admin@heymanninstitute.com.

Maps you keep on this device

An account and sign-in are required to use the editor. Map content, imported files, recovery information and file-save references are stored in this browser on this device. Opening a local file or signing in does not automatically upload those maps. Saving or exporting a file gives you a copy you control.

Browser storage is separate for each website address, browser and device. Clearing site data, using private browsing or losing access to a browser profile can remove local work. Save important maps to files before clearing site data. We cannot retrieve a map that existed only in your browser.

Information used by accounts

If you register, sign in or recover your account, the service processes your email address, password submission, account identifiers, verification and recovery requests, and session information. Supabase Auth checks credentials and holds the authentication record, including a password hash. Security records help verify access and limit repeated requests.

When you choose to copy a local map to your account, its content and associated map information are uploaded to private account storage. The service keeps map identifiers, titles, revisions and timestamps so you can find and reopen your maps. Edits to an account map can synchronize with your account; local recovery and pending changes may also remain in this browser.

Why information is processed and who receives it

Account information is used to authenticate you, deliver confirmation and password-recovery messages, keep account maps available, and protect access. The app uses Supabase for authentication, the account database and private file storage. The website host processes web requests, which can include an IP address, requested URL, browser information and operational logs. Email delivery services process the address and account message they deliver.

If you email us, Heymann Institute receives the information you include to handle your request. Never include your password. Include private map details only when needed to explain the issue, and share as little as possible. Account storage is not a public-sharing feature.

The current app does not include advertising pixels, session replay, optional analytics, or AI processing of your maps. It does not send map content to advertising or AI services. Information may be processed outside your location by the operator and its service providers.

Cookies and browser storage

Sign-in, request protection and password recovery use first-party security cookies. Local maps and recovery use browser databases; account changes may use browser storage to coordinate tabs. These support the features you choose to use. Read the cookies and storage notice for their purposes, lifetimes and your controls.

Retention and your choices

Local maps and recovery data can remain until removed through browser controls or by the app or browser. Signing out is not the same as erasing every local map or file. Account map revisions and security records can remain on the service; this version does not offer an account-deletion or complete account-data export screen, or a fixed automatic deletion schedule. Browser clearing does not delete account copies.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, or request deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Send requests to admin@heymanninstitute.com. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information. Available rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law; you may also contact your relevant privacy regulator.
